Donate & paint: A plate for you, a plate for someone else
Artsy Avenue and the Markthal are joining forces for a creative and meaningful event for the Food Bank: Donate & Paint. During this unique workshop, you will paint your own plate or bowl in the Markthal—and at the same time donate a meal to someone who desperately needs it.
How does it work?
You will participate in a creative session of up to 2 hours in the iconic Markthal.
While enjoying a drink and a snack, you will paint a plate or bowl with your personal message or illustration.
Participation costs €40, including a drink, snack, ceramics, and materials. Payment takes place on location.
After about three weeks, you can pick up your artwork at Artsy Avenue on Pannenkoekstraat.
Each painted plate symbolizes a meal for a family at the Food Bank.
Practical information
In October, it can be a bit chilly in the Markthal. The temperature inside is similar to the temperature outside. So dress warmly—we will provide a cozy atmosphere, blankets, and a warm snack to warm you up while you paint.
