Find your way to Markthal!

BY CAR - PARKING

You can park comfortably directly under the Markthal Rotterdam. There you will find a very spacious parking garage with over 1,100 parking spaces. The garage is open 24/7 and equipped with sufficient charging points and disabled parking spaces. Take the escalators or one of the spacious elevators from the parking garage upwards and you will be directly in the heart of Markthal. 

In addition to taking a parking ticket, you can easily enter and exit with your debit card or even reserve your parking space in advance at attractive discount rates. Entering is easy via your license plate and you no longer have to go to the payment machine!

How to find the parking garage?

Follow the Markthal parking garage signs on the road in the city centre of Rotterdam and take the exit. to Ds. Jan Scharpstraat. The parking garage is easily accessible from both directions (A16 and A20). 

Pedestrian entrance via 24-hour entrance Grote Markt

The parking garage is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. The garage also remains accessible to pedestrians via the 24-hour entrance and exit when the Markthal closes. This entrance is located in the middle of the long side of the Markthal on the Grotemarkt.

BY BIKE - BICYCLE PARKING

You can park your bicycle for free in the public bicycle parking facility of the Municipality of Rotterdam next to Rotterdam Blaak station.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

ROTTERDAM BLAAK STATION

Rotterdam Blaak Railway Station is right next to the Markthal, a 1-minute walk away. Check the website for the current timetable. In the Markthal you can find the current timetable on the interactive information kiosks.

BUS 32/47
Bus 32 towards Overschie and Station Zuid & Bus 47 towards Noordereiland and Station Blaak stop at the Blaak.

Tram line 21/24
Tram 21 towards Woudhoek and De Esch / Tram 24 towards Holy and De Esch stop at the Blaak.

METRO A / B / C

Blaak metro station is right next to the Markthal. Subway lines A / B / C stop here.

There is dedicated parking for touring cars available in Rotterdam:
- Blaak, 3 spots at the Maritime Museum;
- Boompjeskade, 3 spots;
- Mariniershof, 1 spot at the Savoy hotel;
- Museumpark, 1 spot at the Boijmans van Beuningen museum;
- Parkhaven, 5 spots at the Euromast;
- Schiedamsedijk, 1 spot at hotel Inntel;
- Willemsplein, 17 spots at the Spido.
